AI Operating Model

AI in financial services is an operating model problem.

Most firms have an AI governance document. Few have an AI operating model. We design the workflow, controls, and audit layer that turn AI from a pilot into a production capability you can scale.

The four layers

An operating model is four things working together.

Workflow. Where AI sits in the business process. Which steps it touches. Where the human is still the decision-maker.

Controls. The checkpoints that catch errors before they reach the client. Pre-flight validation, in-flight review, post-flight audit.

Audit. The trail that lets a regulator reconstruct what the AI did, why it did it, and who approved it. Operationally generated, not retrospectively assembled.

Override. The path back to a human when the AI hits its limits, gets it wrong, or encounters an edge case no one anticipated. Built deliberately, not bolted on.

Make the operating model the deliverable.
